Randomness, Now, Then (Part 1)

I've been disturbed during the first two "Ber" months (September and October) because I didn't feel the Christmas spirit begin to boil this year. When I was a little boy, as early as September, my late grandfather would play Christmas carols, signifying Christmas is near and that would make me very happy. After all, every kid in the world long for Christmas as it is usually the happiest time of the year. Sadly today, it's already November and I can't still feel that "Christmas is in the air". Partly because of global warming (it's freaking hot as summer) and partly because of economic problems faced by everyone. Too bad. The joy of Christmas is the only thing a guy like me could look forward to after a long, hard year.

When I was still in my elementary school days, I couldn't wait for vacations to come. It felt so near yet so far. Today, vacations just come and go so fast and quite frankly, I haven't even enjoyed them. Monday's gonna be the start of my second semester as a junior college student and I still can remember the opening of the first semester back in June like it was yesterday. They say time flies when you're having fun. I DON'T HAVE FUN in the school I'm in now, yet time flew by so fast. I feel like time's flying by so fast, and I'm wasting it all doing the same old routine of going to school, going home, going to school, going on and on and on.

Random things I did when I was a kid that I still do today:
  • watch cartoons
  • daydream
  • talk to cats and dogs
  • drink Nido
  • read comic books
  • draw stupid-looking sci fi stuff
  • hate veggies
  • watch Hannah Montana
  • sleep for 12 hours (Ha! most of you even barely sleep!)
  • hang with family (I know most of you would rather hang with friends because you got issues)
I'll tell you now, these things don't seem so special. Like, probably every other dude out there does at least one of the things I listed down. But at least I still appreciate doing them. Do you? Or do you still do these things for the sake of doing them? (*stick tongue out, put fingers in the shape of an "L" on forehead*)

Random fact: Like a Virgin by Madonna is being played on my neighbor's radio and is very audible here, right now.
