It was epic!

Me and my family were going home from Pavia at around 7 PM. We were there because there was a little gathering at my cousin's house because she and her husband along with her mom had their house renovated and it looked freaking cool now. Anyway, my cousin had it dedicated and there was food to celebrate the occasion. So there, you probably have the idea now that I'm pretty full.
Anyway again, as we were going home, a thunderstorm started to brew. First there was only lightning. Then followed heavy rain.
As most of you know, the road from Pavia to Iloilo City is surrounded by open fields and all that stuff. So, you could see the awesomeness of lightning as it strikes from the heavens to the ground. It kinda reminds you of the nothingness of humans, how we are totally insignificant. Little specks of dust, living in this insignificant world, which when viewed from outer space is itself a little speck of dirt in a cosmic sandbox.
Adding to the awesomeness of the feeling is the fact that it was raining hard, we were in a highway, in the night. Totally epic. It's nothing much, really. Nothing special. I'm sure most of you have experienced that. But hey, I appreciate little experiences like this. You should too.
