Music Mania 5: The Manila Music Scene in 2011 -- So Far, So Awesome

Apparently, 2011 is the greatest year in recent memory when talking about foreign musicians coming to the Philippines to perform in a concert/series of shows. You could liken the roster of the said musicians to a basketball team -- The All-star team!!! And we're only midway through the year as of this writing.
Here is a list (no particular order) of all our favorite musicians/singers/artists/performers/whateveryouwanttocallthem who came/will come to give joy to their Pinoy fans:
1. Taylor Swift -- Seriously, who doesn't, to the very least, know who she is?
2. Yellowcard -- I'll bet a hundred bucks you'll be surprised you're headbanging to their songs without you knowing it.
3. Justin Bieber -- As much as I hate this guy right here, y'all can't deny he is the most famoust 16, 17-year old kid in the world.
4. Switchfoot -- One of their guitarists is Filipino, mind you.
5. Hillsong United -- Christian rock at its best, yo.
6. Miley Cyrus -- I've been a Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus fan since high school (sue me) so it would have been nice to watch her show.
7. Incubus -- Awesome. That's an understatement when describing Incubus. They're in the top 5 of my favorite bands of all time. And I envy my friend who'll be watching the show on July 28th.
8. 30 Seconds to Mars -- Jared Leto can be extremely extreme with his music, but 30 STM has been a personal favorite of mine since releasing their A Beautiful Lie album in 2006. And if you still aren't convinced how good this band is, go ask all the Echelons (30 STM's fanbase) online and you'll get your answer.
9. Mayday Parade -- Uber emo. So what? Everybody loves 'em.
10. KoRn -- Ditto for KoRn. Everybody who's anybody listens to them.
